Dr. Khalid Sebti
Founder and CEO
Dr. Sebti leads product
strategy and customer engagements at
CrossTest. He brings more than 20 years
of experience in infrastructure software,
middleware, development tools and business
applications. His roles have included engineering,
sales and business development.
Prior to founding CrossTest, Dr. Sebti
served as VP of Business Development for
WorldChain (acquired by Sterling Commerce), a SaaS provider of supply
chain software where he was responsible
for
securing large orders
from OEM customers.
Prior to WorldChain, Dr. Sebti
spent eight years at Oracle, serving in different
management positions in business development
and sales. He was instrumental in the success
of Oracle in the Windows NT
market and in the CRM space. Dr. Sebti
began his career in software development for
Verilog (acquired by IBM), a market leader
in design and test automation solutions for
embedded systems.
Dr. Sebti holds a PhD and
M.S. in Computer Science from the French
Aeronautical and Space Engineering School and an
MBA from the European Institute of Business
Administration (INSEAD).
Peter
Osborne Board Member
Peter Osborne has served as a
Director of CrossTest since its inception.
Mr. Osborne was previously the Chief Financial
Officer, Vice President of Finance and
Administration, and Treasurer of VNUS (NASDAQ:
VNUS) which was recently sold to a large public
multinational company. Prior to joining VNUS in
October 2007, Mr. Osborne served many
international public companies in senior financial
executive roles which included the participation
in the sale of Mercury Interactive to HP in
2007. Mr. Osborne began his professional
career with Deloitte & Touche LLP and was
a Partner through September 2000.
Mr. Osborne is a
Certified Public Accountant and holds both a B.S.
in Operations Research and a Bachelor of Commerce
in finance and statistics from the University of
Cape Town in Cape Town South Africa, as well as
having completed the Stanford University Executive
Institute Program sponsored by the American
Electronics
Association.
John
Hartman Product Engineering
Advisor
John
currently serves as advisor to CrossTest on
engineering matters. Earlier in his career, John
was Senior Director at Wind River Systems where he
spent eight years in product development. As
co-creator and strategist for the successful
Tornado product line that revolutionized embedded
systems development and fueled Wind River's 40%
annual compound growth, Mr. Hartman built and led
the organizations responsible for the Tornado IDE,
Compilers, Runtime Visualization, SDKs, Strategic
Partner Integrations and University
Programs. John also spent time as VP of
Engineering at CrossTest where he was is
responsible for all technical aspects of the
CrossTest product line.
Prior to CrossTest, Mr. Hartman spent over a decade
in real-time embedded software development
with Varian where he was the system architect
for Varian's family of chromatography
instruments.
Mr. Hartman has a degree in Electrical
Engineering and Computer Science from UC
Berkeley and has completed the Executive
Program at Stanford University Graduate School
of Business.
Ram
Melkote
Product Marketing
Advisor
Ram has over 20 years of cross
functional experience in the IT industry across IT
applications, service management, SOA , BPM,
Middleware, Databases, and Systems Management. His
experience has spanned Product Management,
Marketing, Product Development, Architecture, and
Consulting. He has served as the VP of Marketing
at CrossTest where his duties included Product
Management, and Business Developement.
Ram's experience includes
product management at CA where he has managed the
product strategy for the CMDB and allied service
management and operational tools. Ram spent six
years at Oracle, where he was the Director of
Product Management for the Application Server
product. At IBM, Ram was an architect for its
premier object oriented package and atBell for an
advanced Intelligent Networking
product. Prior to CrossTest, Ram co-founded
Phulaxis, a company that monitors business and
technology controls across enterprise application
systems, where he headed Product
Management/Marketing and Business Development.
Ram has an MS in Engineering from Cornell, an
MS in Computer Science from Columbia , a B. Tech in
Engineering from the Indian Institute of
Technology (IIT), and an MBA from University of
Chicago
.
